Lauren Trotzuk as DIRECTOR/MUSICAL DIRECTOR/PERSEPHONE

Lauren Trotzuk is an actor, singer, director, playwright, theatre instructor and overall avid musical theatre enthusiast. She is over the moon to see Persephone on stage one decade since inception and almost five years since she first penned ‘Goddess of Nothing’. She is honoured to be bringing her heart and soul to the stage and grateful for the community that continues to support her work. She is especially thankful for her amazing cast and creative team for believing in the vision of this ‘workshop’. She hopes you enjoy the world premier of Persephone.

Hanna Hotanen as PIANIST SUPREME

Hanna has been involved over the years with multiple theatrical productions from Surrey through Chilliwack, as both a stage performer and a pit musician. She is honoured to have been invited to bring Persephone’s original music to an audience for the first time, and has enjoyed being a part of this show’s very fun and passionate cast and crew.

MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM!

Jenn Mamchur as HERA/CO-DIRECTOR/COSTUMES
Jennifer loves to sing, dance and act and is very excited to work with fabulously talented humans on this Production of Persephone. It will be the second time she gets to work with Lauren on one of her original works and she is thrilled to help bring this one to life for the very first time! It will also be her first foray into (co) directing a musical! Sit back and enjoy- songs and characters that will stay stuck in your brain for a very long time!

Jennifer has previously appeared on stage at Langley Little Theatre, Theatre in the Country, Gallery 7, Stage 43, and Fraser Valley Stage.
