Dayna Horn as REHEARSAL STAGE MANAGER

Dayna (they/she) is a stage manager and theatre technician grateful to be working in the Lower Mainland; traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking peoples. In addition to working as the Operations and Marketing Assistant for Theatre in the Country, previous stage management credits include Cinderella (Fraser Valley Musical Theatre), Rigoletto (Vancouver Opera; Apprentice), Sister Act and Anastasia, the Musical (Theatre in the Country), and Nutcracker on Ice (Ice Creative Entertainment, PNE Winter Fair). They’ve had lots of fun workshopping Persephone with everyone over the last several months, and hopes you enjoy! DFTBA

TRINITY SULLIVAN as HESTIA/MEG

Trinity is an actor, singer, and director who has trained in both Canada and the UK, and is thrilled to be performing in Persephone. Previous acting credits include the award winning “Moonglow” (Pivot Theatre), “Monster [workshop]” (Direct Theatre Collective) and “Sister Act” (TIC). Upcoming, she will be directing Fat Cat Killers for Soda Akimbo Theatre. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support. Enjoy the show!

Tim Hawryluk as CHARON/ARES

Tim is excited to be back on stage in this amazing show. Having experienced the brilliance of Lauren Trotzuk’s writing in last year's award-winning According to Aurelie, he is honoured to be part of bringing another of her visions to life. Tim was most recently seen on stage in the Hansel + Gretel panto (FVMT) and Sister Act (TIC). He hopes you enjoy the performance and wishes you good luck in getting these infectious songs out of your head!

Tarek Diabmarzouk as ZEUS

Tarek has been singing since he was young and has always had a deep passion for music and performance. Over the past few years, he has discovered a strong love for theatre, appearing in productions such as Little Women and Into the Woods. Through these experiences, he has grown both as a performer and as a storyteller. Outside of performing, Tarek is an undergraduate student in Linguistics at the University of British Columbia. This will be his first time performing with Capricorn Theatre Productions. He is incredibly excited to be working with such a talented and supportive group of people, and hopes you all enjoy the show.

Pam Rochon as PROPS/SET DEC

Pam is thrilled to be part of another Lauren Trotzuk original show. However, this time she will be behind the scenes as Property Mistress and Set Decorator helping bring the vision of Persephone to life. Previous credits include Sister Mary Martin of Tours in Sister Act (Theatre in the Country), Bev in Confessions of a Grocery Clerk (Capricorn Theatre Productions & Vagabond Players), and Madeleine in Screaming in Silence (Me2You Productions). She was honoured with a CTC Award for Best Set Decorating for The Foreigner (Langley Players 2018) and Nominated for Best Set Design for The Memory of Water (Langley Players 2017). Enjoy the show!

MEET THE CAST!

Rebecca Erin Curtis as APOLLO/TIZZY

Rebecca Erin Curtis is glowing with joy to live out her childhood dreams as Apollo. As an avid reader, she adored the Percy Jackson series growing up. Bouncing around North America as a young girl, she found a home in performing musical theatre. As of 2022, she holds diplomas in Musical Theatre performance from both MacEwan and Capilano University. Since then, she has been lucky enough to work on several productions. Some of her favorites were Aisling in Thy Neighbour's Wife (United Players of Vancouver), Olga Romanov in Anastasia (Theatre in the Country) and Jo March in Little Women: the Broadway Musical (White Rock Players). For her performance of Jo, she was nominated for BroadwayWorlds Best Performer in a Musical. In September, Rebecca will be performing her cabaret, UNPACKING: the art of telling a short story long, at the Vancouver Fringe Festival.
