that DREAM started as a single song called Life Can Be Magic? Terry originally shared the song at a song circle & a friend suggested that the story was bigger than just one song.

With the COVID lockdowns, Terry took up the challenge and created the first draft of DREAM, the musical.

Then came multiple workshops & re-writes, which ultimately led to its World Premiere on the Opera House stage in June of 2025!

Since then, DREAM has become a beloved story of hope, with multiple songs. One person shared after seeing it, “This story… reminded me that the most powerful legacies aren’t built on grand gestures, but on the quiet, steadfast choices to love, to stay, and to build something lasting.”

Thank you to each person who saw this last summer and to each of you who continues to support it!

The ones we love to tell over and over again.
These stories touch our hearts - maybe even change our lives - because of the truth they hold for us all.

DREAM is based on the true story of Terry’s father’s life. It was born out of a single song, “Life Can Be Magic”, and a suggestion from a friend that the story was bigger than just one song.

Thank you. It was incredible to see how it was so widely received & how so many people came out to support it.
