🌟 Welcome to Our New Gallery Artist! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Linda Greig Art to our brand‑new Pacific Arts Market Gallery in Nanaimo! Linda will be moving in a little early on June 25th as she’s also hosting our second Art Zone program that evening from 5:30–7:30pm. It’s the perfect way to introduce her work and kick off another inspiring night in the Gallery.

We’re now open from Wednesday-Sunday

Our big Grand Opening event is on July 11th, once all first artists and vendors have moved in. Save the date! 2-6pm, live music, drinks, and art.

All Gallery terms begin with 12 weeks and are fully renewable, and we’re so excited that Linda has chosen to be part of this incredible new chapter alongside 50+ local artists and makers.

🎨 About the Artist:
I am very fortunate to live on Vancouver Island, where I am surrounded by lush forests, blue sea, and where breathtaking flowers come to life each spring. The natural beauty around me never ceases to amaze and motivate me to create.

In my earlier life I owned a book store, worked as a teacher-librarian and French Immersion teacher, reviewed books, and taught future teacher-librarians at UBC. I retired and thought I would write a book. But no! I took an art course and was hooked! Many courses later, I still find joy in painting!

I used to teach art to little kids. Now I get to be that little kid, and play!

📍 Visit the Gallery:

100‑460 Wallace Street, Nanaimo (part of the new Soundworks building)
There’s plenty of street parking nearby, plus a parking lot right beside the building.

We are Jon and Karen, parents to Ellie and Charlie. We make whimsical wooden art prints inspired by nature and dreams. We strive to bring positive messages through our creations that serve as daily reminders of how we can live our lives intentionally and joyfully. We handcraft each piece of art on Salt Spring Island, and we plant a tree for every sale through various food-forest tree planting programs. So far we've planted over 60 000 trees!
