Keep the Little Child in You Alive
Keep the little child in you alive,
the one who still finds wonder
in the simplest of things,
who dances without needing a reason
and laughs without holding back.
Protect the part of you
that dreams with an open heart,
that believes in possibilities,
that sees magic in ordinary moments.
Let yourself be curious again,
ask questions, explore,
and welcome joy without hesitation.
The world may teach you to
dim the colours of your imagination,
but your spirit was made to feel,
to play, and to imagine.
Hold gently the child within you,
the one who cherished simple joys,
the one who carried hope,
the one who never stopped believing.
Make room for wonder,
make space for laughter,
and remember that growing older
does not mean growing distant
from the joy that lives inside.
For the little child in you
is not something to leave behind;
it is a part of your heart
that keeps you connected
to love, light,
and the beauty of being alive.
