We're still buzzing from last month's South Island Zone Festival! 🐝✨

Our Prelude to a Kiss cast and crew took home a number of awards! 🏆🎭

🌟 Steven Methot took home the award for Best Actor in a Featured Role for his work as the "Old Man."
🌟 Celine took home the award for Outstanding Emerging Actor for her work as "Rita."
🌟 Sharron Macleod won the award for Best Backstage Cooperation for all her work as Stage Manager, Producer, and Prop Master! 🎬
🌟 Kelvin Bear (with guidance from Director, Judy Powers) won the award for Best Sound Design. 🔊

🌿 Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day — a day to celebrate the cultures, contributions, and resilience of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada.

Ladysmith Little Theatre is located on the unceded territory of the Stz'uminus First Nation. We are grateful to live, create, and gather on this land, and we honour the stewardship of the Stz'uminus people — past, present, and future.

🌟 What a moment for our theatre community!

We are SO proud to share that Mercury Players Society has won the South Island Zone Theatre Festival with their beautiful production of Timepiece! 🏆 They'll be moving on to TheatreBC Mainstage to compete with zone winners from across the province! 🎭

Before they go, they'll be bringing Timepiece back to our stage at Ladysmith Little Theatre on July 3rd, 4th & 5th — a special remount to help fund their Mainstage adventure. 💛

Misery is coming to LLT, and we need YOU to bring it to life. 🎭

Auditions are open for our first show of the 2026–2027 season! Three roles available: Annie Wilkes, Paul Sheldon, and Buster.

📅 Audition dates: July 21, 23 & 26 (evenings + one Sunday afternoon)
Rehearsals begin August 4th on a Tue/Thu/Sun schedule.
