Sometimes you wish you had a better view out a window... and you actually do something about it!! Sarah did 👏! And I was very happy to create it for her and her hubby, who met on this beach. 🥰 Now they can remember that every time they look out from their workout area! Thanks for having me in to paint it. Hugs!

40 years ago today, we celebrated our mom's final birthday - at only 47 (as pictured).

She wasn't feeling very well around this time, and tried to find out why. Doctors typically thinking it was a woman of a certain age issue, and literally said "it's all your head". I believe it was in June that she was finally diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. That summer was the worst. She went through treatments to no avail, and Aug 30, 3 months after her birthday, she passed.

Women's health issues are tricky in the years 45-60 range but we shouldn't chalk everything up to the change of life... listen to yourself or listen to those who may be struggling and don't ignore what feels "wrong". That's how mom described it. Something is wrong.
She wasn't.

She'd be 87 today.

I'm sorry I didn't get to grow up in your presence and I will always love you mom.

A super cute Easter Bunny-inspired painting for this super fun group at the TFN Elders Centre. Alrighty! I've been asked a bunch recently to see what I have available, so here are my floral pieces - with varied background tones of greens and blues and a few different styles and size options!
