For those who know me and seen me in our local Saskatoon drag community, I haven't been an active performer in 1-2 years. And that is okay for me.

Life is taking me in different paths, through my community and cultural work. And I am very grateful for all the opportunities coming to me and my own growth.

I'll always be grateful for what drag gave to me. It gave me a sense of community when I needed one. It helped me grow more confident in myself and see my beauty and magic.

Now I express myself in different ways.

Often, I just don't have the energy anymore for the hours of makeup, costume and maintenance it requires. And the nightlife on top of all that isn't me anymore.

I gravitate towards a slower life, and other means of self expression and art.

Last year I performed at La Ronge Pride in Northern Saskatchewan. Love the land there. Reminds me a bit of my homeland in Northern Sweden. 💙✨️

After performing, I was by the lake by myself and it was so beautiful. I decided to snap some photos of myself. Love how they turned out.

That's when I really let wild, like bringing some fake dismembered lower body parts with the bowels coming out to a show...wish I still had photos of how I made them with some old jeans I ripped apart and stuffed 🥲

As a francophone, I paraded with and handed out goodies. It warmed my heart to hear people speak French and be excited to see Pride pins written in French. 🥰🇲🇫
