𝐀 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
In the wake of this wonderful 7th edition of the Knowlton Film Festival, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫.
This support means a great deal to us. It allows us to build on everything we have accomplished over the past seven years, while giving the Festival the means to continue growing and establish lasting roots in our region.
This year, the Three Pines Foundation notably supported the Best Fiction Film Award and its accompanying cash prize, presented during our closing ceremony. As announced on opening night, over the coming year this award will officially be named in honour of a great Quebec filmmaker, celebrating and carrying forward our province’s rich cinematic heritage.
We experienced an extraordinary edition, brought to life by filmmakers, artists, our audiences, and our community. Being able to count on the support of Louise Penny and the Three Pines Foundation gives us tremendous enthusiasm and confidence as we look to the future.
Thank you, Louise, for your trust, your generosity, and your commitment to the Festival and our community.

𝐔𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢 𝐚̀ 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐭 𝐚̀ 𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
Au lendemain de cette magnifique 7e édition du Festival du film de Knowlton, nous souhaitons exprimer toute notre reconnaissance à 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐭 𝐚̀ 𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐮 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞́𝐞.
Cet appui est extrêmement significatif pour nous. Il nous permet de consolider ce que nous avons construit au fil des sept dernières années, mais surtout de donner au Festival les moyens de prendre encore plus d’ampleur et de s’inscrire durablement dans notre région.
Cette année, la Fondation Three Pines a notamment soutenu le Prix et la bourse de la meilleure fiction, remis lors de notre soirée de clôture. Comme nous l’avons annoncé à l’ouverture du Festival, ce prix sera officiellement nommé, au cours de la prochaine année, en l’honneur d’un grand cinéaste ou d’une grande cinéaste du Québec, afin de célébrer et de transmettre notre patrimoine cinématographique.
Nous avons vécu une édition extraordinaire, portée par les cinéastes, les artistes, notre public et notre communauté. Pouvoir compter sur un soutien comme celui de Louise Penny et de la Fondation Three Pines nous permet d’envisager la suite avec énormément d’enthousiasme.
