To our dear supporters, this message is a long time coming.

It was announced last year that Altekrea was to be retired. I shortly made an official video afterward, but have hesitated to make it public these last 365 days. It would make things quite final.

But with the wrap Summer Lights 2017, and the possibility of Altekrea 2017 passing by, it is time to post this message to you.

Thank you, thank you all once again for making this festival what it was. I hope it challenged, inspired and made our community a better place.

Altekrea's art emporium will be here until 5pm today, along with shows, workshops, panels, and circus acts. Don't miss our resident mermaid at 3:30 (we had to adjust for the miniature regatta in the fountain). Full programming on our website!
