Water changes today and I moved the C pygmaeus from the bare bottom betta tank into the C rabauti tank. They are already enjoying hunting around in the sand bottom!

After I recently moved the 125 gallon to the other wall of the fish room, I didn't put the breeding pair of Auloncara sp. OB Peacock's back in it. Instead, I only put the Neolamprologus buescheri Kamakonde, the loaches and a bristlenose pleco in the tank. The plan was to find 30 zebra danio's (PetsMart was going to have them on sale for 99 cents but the lockdown crushed that) so I moved the four Melanotaenia praecox over. Boy, do they look lost in there!

TFCA joined many other aquarium clubs online today to vote on CAOAC (Canadian Association of Aquarium Clubs) amendments to their by-laws. They are heading in the right direction. Still lots of work to do but their hearts are in the right place! I fondly remember going to CAOAC meetings in Waterdown with Beemer, Miecia and Mr. Rein back in the 80's. It was a different time back then!!!

Wore my mask over to drop off some stuff at the powerful and handsome Stuart M's place today. Walked out with some vals and wisteria that contained some hitch hikers! Four assassin snails! I love this hobby and the people in it.

Holy crap! I wrote an article for the Kitchener-Waterloo Aquarium Society Fins N' Tales newsletter and submitted it to the Editor last night. Even sent a photo along with it. Wish more members would make the effort!

TFCA rescued six Hyphessobrycon columbianus (Colombian tetra) tonight and WOW, are they nice. Once they are out of quarantine and in their proper home, I will snap some pics!

Wow! Watched this Matt guy from North Carolina speak on breeding all different kinds of bettas. Had a fishroom AND tanks in his bedroom. Says he has a wife... can't confirm or deny that!!! Fantastic ZOOM program via KWAS!!!!

The Corydoras corydor is almost G2G. Three 15 gallon aquariums dedicated to corys! Now to choose which ones will get these homes.
