JM Drama is thrilled to announce the return of our Playground Festival of New Works https://playground.registrytheatre.com/ in June 2025! We are now accepting submissions from emerging and established theatre and performance creators.

This is a fantastic opportunity to present fresh concepts, whether they are performance-ready or still in development. We welcome a wide range of submissions, including text-based works, performance experiments, and projects incorporating music, choreography, design, film, animation, or new media.

If you're an artist with a new work to share or know someone who might be interested, we encourage you to submit or spread the word. If you would like more information, we would be happy to schedule a visit to discuss the festival in greater detail with your group.

This year we are thrilled to be collaborating with partners at Centre in the Square and Growing in the Arts, who will be providing meeting space for regular, Writer’s Circle gatherings!

Submission deadline is October 25, 2024, and electronic submissions can be sent to [email protected].
