Kitchener Waterloo Weavers' and Spinners' Guild The KW Weavers' and Spinners' Guild is a non-profit organization. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Guests are welcome!

The guild's goals are the preservation and improvement of craftsmanship in hand weaving, spinning, and dyeing.

Interested in learning the art of tapestry? Why not try a class at the Guild?

Through the course, participants will learn several different techniques completing weekly class projects. Portable frame looms are provided, so participants are able to take their weaving home and continue working on projects between classes.

Looking to try something new? There's still a few spaces left in our September Weaving 1 class!

Weaving 1 does not require any prior weaving experience. In six, three-hour classes, you will learn the basics of making a warp, dressing the loom, reading patterns and estimating materials for weaving projects. Participants will weave a variety of patterns and will take home their completed samples as well as a completed project. The class runs 6-9pm Thursdays. Sept 10-Oct 15, 2026. Register at
