We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new studio on June 16th!

To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we’re hosting a Grand Opening Event on June 21st, and we’d love for you to join us. Come tour the new space, chat with us, and enjoy some food and drinks while celebrating with us.

Meet Jasteen!

Originally from the Philippines, Jasteen is a Kitchener-based tattoo artist whose work is inspired by precision, creativity, and connection. Since moving to Canada in 2015, she has built a style rooted in fine line, geometric, realism, floral, and micro-realism tattoos.

For Jasteen, tattooing is more than just creating art - it’s about telling stories through carefully crafted details and meaningful designs. Every tattoo is approached with patience, passion, and a commitment to quality, ensuring each piece feels unique to the person wearing it.

Her calm energy, attention to detail, and dedication to client satisfaction have helped her create an experience where clients feel comfortable, confident, and excited throughout the process.

And yes - the name has a story. It comes from her nickname “Bham-Bham,” which evolved into “butt,” eventually inspiring the playful handle that many of her clients now know her by.

Meet Angela!

Angela Rose McDonald, from Kitchener, has been one of Ontario’s premier tattoo artists for more than a decade and a half. Her background in classical art not only defines her skill but influences every aspect of her style and technique. 

Angela has had the opportunity to learn from and work with artists from all over the world. She enjoys designing custom pieces and bringing her client’s most creative ideas to life. 

Her personal style includes colour, black and grey realism, botanical, geometric and nature themes.

Known as the former co-creator and co-owner of Polka & Volt, Angela Rose McDonald is now channeling her passion and artistic vision into a fresh new space - Frederick Mall Custom Tattoo - co-founded with Jasteen.
