We're very excited to be welcoming back instructor Natalie St Cyr to the Museum for this "oh so delightful" Pumpkin themed art workshop for kids!

This class will take place on Sunday, Oct 18th and run from 10am to 11:30am for children ages 6 and up. The cost is $30 (+tax)

Our annual Night at the Museum event returns on Sunday, October 25th.

This Halloween event for kids has games, activities and crafts from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

We can't wait to welcome you to the KL Project, a wonderful photography exhibition by artist Teresa Allaire.

We'll be hosting an Opening Reception on Saturday, October 3rd from 6pm to 8pm. There will be an array of treats including Sugar Daddy’s Bake Shop and refreshments by Sipsters Mobile Events. There will be a special Q & A Session taking place at 7pm.

Admission is free!

Can't make it tomorrow? No worries! The exhibit will be up in the Gallery until November 7th!

A tremendous thank you goes out to the Kirkland Lake Knights of Columbus for their generous $11,000 donation to the Museum.

Contributions like these go a long way towards supporting the Museum of Northern History in celebrating our community - allowing us to preserve, protect and present our local history.

On September 30th we all take a moment to remember, honour and observe a National Day of Truth and Reconciliation - remembering all those who suffered and/or continue to suffer the effects of residential schools, and those who never returned home.
