Here are a few helpful reminders before you head out:
🎟 Admission: Cash only at the door. An ATM will be available at the venue if needed.
πŸš— Parking: Free parking is available at the venue.
πŸ‘˜ Cosplay: Cosplay is always welcome, but never required! Whether you're in full cosplay, your favourite anime T-shirt, or anything cool and comfortable, we're excited to have you.
♿️ Accessibility: The venue has accessible parking, an accessible entrance, and accessible washrooms. Please note that the Taiko and Tallack Karate demonstrations may be loud, and the Red Carpet stage is accessed by steps. If you need assistance, please let a staff member knowβ€”we'll be happy to help.

We want everyone to have a fun and comfortable experience at Anime Kingston!

Here are a few accessibility notes to help you plan your day:

β€’ Accessible parking, entrance, and washrooms are available at the venue.

β€’ The Taiko drumming and Tallack martial arts demonstrations include loud sounds. If you are sensitive to noise, you may wish to bring hearing protection or plan your visit around those performances.

β€’ The Red Carpet event takes place on a raised stage with steps. If you are unable to use the stairs, please let one of our staff or volunteers knowβ€”we'll be happy to accommodate you.

If you have any questions or accessibility needs before or during the event, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to help however we can. πŸ’œ

everyone's amazing cosplay, you
don't need a costume to be part of the fun.
Whether you come in your favourite cosplay,
your favourite anime T-shirt, or just your
everyday clothes, you're welcome here.
Anime Kingston is about celebrating the
community together, meeting artists,
watching demonstrations and performances,
shopping with vendors, and enjoying a fun
day with fellow fans.
So if you've been thinking about coming but
weren't sure because you don't cosplay,
this is your sign. Come as you are and

Be sure to visit the K-Town Japanese Learners Club at Anime Kingston! They'll be offering introductory Japanese language lessons as well as the opportunity to try Japanese calligraphy (shodō).

The Cosplay Red Carpet is a relaxed, non-competitive event where cosplayers walk the stage, strike a pose, and have the chance to be photographed and celebrated by fellow attendees.

It’s not a contest β€” there’s no judging, no rankings, and no pressure. Just a welcoming space to show off your cosplay and enjoy the moment.
