This weekend was another BIG one for the band!🏆

We officially closed out the 2026 competition season by bringing home another 1st place win! 🥇

After taking the 2025 season off, this year was all about rebuilding, growing, and putting in the work - not only as a band, but as individual players. Countless hours of practice, lessons, rehearsals, preparation, and dedication have gone into getting where we are and we could not be more proud.

The never-ending commitment to learning, improving, supporting one another, showing up ready to give our all + witnessing the growth throughout this season has been pretty incredible!🙌🏼

A huge congratulations to all of the bands who competed on Saturday! It’s always a privilege to share the field with so many talented musicians and to be part of a community that continues to keep this incredible tradition alive.

And finally, a massive thank you and shoutout to North Lanark Highland Games for hosting us and putting together another fantastic day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to compete, connect, and celebrate the music we love! 🥁

Now it’s time for a very well-earned exhale… 😮‍💨

We’re already looking forward to getting back to our lessons, building on everything we learned this season, and kicking off a brand new season soon!🤩

🏆Grade 5 North American Champions!! 🏆

It’s hard to put a feeling like this into words…

This season has been one of growth, rebuilding, and resilience. There were highs and lows, countless behind-the-scenes hours, and a commitment to show up week after week - giving our absolute best every single run.

And in the end, it all came down to one 3-minute performance yesterday…

It was our best. Every ounce of dedication, every rehearsal, every moment of hard work poured into that performance - and to have it recognized in this way is truly indescribable.

We are beyond grateful for every band member, every parent volunteer, and our incredible executive team. This achievement belongs to all of you 🤍

Huge thanks to Glengarry Highland Games and their awesome team that makes this event possible and to all the hosting homes and the town of Maxville for having us! 🥰

We would also like to extend a very special thanks to former Pipe Sergeant of SFU, Jack Lee, for taking the time to stop by, connect, and assist with some tuning. Your support meant so much to us! 🙏🏼

A huge congratulations as well to all the bands on the prize list - it was an unforgettable day filled with incredible music and community. 🙌🏼

Another incredible Saturday spent in the sunshine doing what we love! ☀️🎶

The band brought the energy and heart this weekend, earning a 4th place finish out of 8 bands.

We’re so proud of our players - their dedication, teamwork, and growth continue to shine through every performance 🙌🏼

Last night at the Kingston Police Annual Awards Ceremony, our “band kids” showed up with such pride, professionalism, and heart.

They had the honour of marching in the procession, representing our organization - and they did so beautifully. 🙌🏼

Watching them carry themselves with such confidence and respect was a true reflection of the dedication and spirit within our band.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Kingston Police for including us in such a meaningful evening. It was truly an honour to be part of it.

And to our players - we are so proud of each and every one of you! You represented us incredibly well. ❤️👏🏼

What an incredible start to the season!

After some time away and a winter filled with hard work and dedication, the band proudly placed 3rd out of ten bands at yesterday’s Georgetown Highland Games!

A massive congratulations to all of the players, and heartfelt thanks to the parents, spouses, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this achievement possible.

We are excited to continue building and growing - both on and off the field - throughout the season ahead. We can’t wait to share the journey with you as we step into what promises to be an incredible competition season!

His service and his music remind us how powerful the pipes can be in honouring, remembering, and healing.

Happy International Bagpipe Day!

On International Bagpipe Day, we honour Veterans like James Gendron.

As a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces, he played the bagpipes to honour fallen comrades returning home. Today, his music stands for strength, healing, and remembrance.
