Slimline card featuring some older Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, new colours and new sentiments from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

This is made from Stampin ‘ Up! Sale-a-Bration berry paper, 2 sizes of Daisy punches and a small flower punch. The stamens are reclaimed from a wreath. The ribbon is white seam binding that I died with SU Blackberry Bliss ink. Project inspired by Karan Ge**er.

Inspired by a sketch from Karan Ge**er, I made this beautiful card. It is 5x7” and so thick that I had to make a 1.5” deep box to put it in. I do love it.

I was asked to make an explosion box for Valentines, so I made 3!
I wrapped a piece of paper around a 1” round of floral from that I cut out using a toilet paper tube. The flowers are roses and posy dies from Heartfelt Creations, I built them on straight pins. The rest is in my tutorial in my Etsy store: www.Etsy.com/SkipToMyLouPaper

Here’s a cool technique that doesn’t take any special tools: paper ripped to create a background picture. It takes an eye for colour and design but I think the key is to start with something easy like a mountain and trees rather than people or animals.
I also love the letters cut from corrugated kraft paper.
