This week’s Release Radar spotlight is “on & on” by Nolan Hubbard & Seth WJ Hunt 🎶

Written back in 2025 and now a staple in both artists’ live sets, the track is about doing your best to keep moving forward, even when you’re unsure what it all means.

Recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered in Hubbard’s home studio, “on & on” blends singer-songwriter roots with alternative rock and pop influences, featuring a steady groove, rich harmonies, and a bridge that builds into the perfect summer driving outro.

On this week’s  Release Radar in partnership with Kingston Music Office , we’re pleased to present “Want me”, one of the first songs local rockers Isbistër wrote when they relocated to Kingston 2 years ago, which continues to be a staple of their unique sound and energy. 

The song was recorded at Open Sessions Studio Kingston by Sam Fitzgerald and written by Riley Fitzgerald!

During this in-person workshop, Shea goes over her approach to songwriting that we hope motivates and inspires others! Throughout, Shea will share some of her methods to approaching lyricism, melody and chord progressions, and take participants through a few of the methods she uses to help combat writer's block or a lack of inspiration.

📻CFRC is absolutely thrilled to announce that Aboriginal Voices is back on the air, and we’re settling into a fantastic new time slot! Tune in Tuesdays from 6 to 8 PM for two full hours of incredible content.

Prepare yourselves for an evening packed with insightful interviews, vibrant music, and thought-provoking discussions, all delivered with an authentic Indigenous perspective. We’ll be diving deep into the rich tapestry of Indigenous cultures, sharing inspiring stories from community leaders, artists, and everyday heroes. You might even pick up a few words in a traditional language – though we can’t promise perfect pronunciation, our hearts are in the right place!

Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding, tap your toes to some amazing tunes, or simply enjoy some genuine laughs, “Aboriginal Voices” is your weekly dose of Indigenous excellence.
