Skate Kingston offers Skate Canada Sanctioned Programs with NCCP Qualified Professional Coaches year-round. Recreational Group Skating Programs:
CanSkate, Parent & Tot, Pre-Power and Adult Learn-to-Skate
STARSkate Programs:
Individual and Group instruction in Skating Skills, Free Skating and Ice Dancing alongside skaters with the same, or similar skating abilities are available. Skate Kingston
offers three STARSkate levels: Junior, Intermediate and Senior
Special Olympics:
The Kingston Silver Blades, Special Olympics Figure Skating Program, is offered at the Kingston Memorial Center on Saturdays from 11am - 12 noon from October until March each year. Skaters with an intellectual or developmental disability are invited to skate with the Kingston Silver Blades, within Skate Kingston. Skills are taught from Skate Canada's "CanSkate" program. Kingston Synchro falls within Skate Kingston and accommodates skaters of all levels from CanSkate to skaters landing double jumps. Synchronized Skating adds a dynamic dimension to the world of recreational and competitive skating. An exciting team sport it involves a group of eight or more skaters who perform choreographed routines to music. The Kingston Synchro Teams enjoy their home ice at the INVISTA Centre.
