May is the month for this journey to begin! I hope to interview a woman or their descendants from each decade of the twentieth century. Are you considering to be my interview participant? Let's talk about what clothes you wore and what makeup you put on when you were coming of age. Let's revisit your enlightenment and struggles in making those daily choices.

Want to be part of a digital exhibition amid the pandemic? Fashioning the Decades: 100 Years of Dressing in a Chinese Diaspora is a digital exhibition that will showcase twentieth-century Chinese Canadian women’s self-fashioning! If you, your friend or family members self identify as Chinese Canadian, you can help me actualize my first solo-exhibition by sending an image of your fashion practice! This image can be a selfie, a tattoo, a fragrance, or any fashion-related object that is meaningful to you. Will this object or imagery communicate your belonging and alienation, or your hopes and dreams? Please share 1-2 sentences about your story with this image! Audio clips are also more than welcomed!
