The QISA Dance Team is one of the largest and longest-serving AMS-affiliated cultural associations at Queen's. Far from being exclusive to Indian students, the QISA Dance Team boasts a diverse membership and prides itself on welcoming members from a variety of backgrounds. Along with being an amazing tool to connect with others, the QISA Dance Team offers students the opportunity to explore and en

gage in the beauty and thrill of Indian dance. Want to get to know more about South Asian culture?

..SO DO WE! The QISA Dance Team is comprised of four different dance genres: bollywood, bhangra, bharatanatyam, and gaana. The team is an active and important part of the Queen’s campus, as well as the greater Kingston community. We dance at multiple events throughout the year, including performances at the Diwali Formal, Pongal, and the infamous Queen’s Dance District Dance Battle. We also host multiple fundraising events, such as Henna and Chai sales. These are only a few of the events and initiatives we’re involved in throughout the year, and we’d love for you to be a part of it! All are welcome to audition, regardless of experience!
