There's just a couple of days left to submit your story for Timeless Tales! Submissions close on May 31.

From The Cradle, The Altar, and The Grave: this year’s writing contest invites storytellers of all ages to choose one evocative historical prompt and explore the defining chapters of a lifetime by crafting an original short story inspired by King Township’s past.

Each category winner (Grades 1–4, 5–8, 9–12, or 18+) receives a $100 prize, along with an invitation to attend Tale Teller's Night on September 24, 2026 for a live reading of their stories! All submissions will be considered for publication in a digital anthology.

🌳🎨Step outside and paint en plein air with us! The ASK Art Lab Series brings you a full day outdoor workshop led by celebrated artist and instructor Linda Kalianteris, known for her vibrant, breathtaking landscapes and passionate teaching style.

You’ll explore a picturesque private property in King with beautiful gardens, landscape, chicken coop, dock, and a lake with a flora and fauna. Gorgeous grounds worth painting! Enjoy a morning demo, an afternoon painting session with guidance, and a supportive closing critique.
