💚 A big thank you to Un.Earth!

We’re so happy to have Un.Earth joining us for this year’s Kincardine Art Crawl and opening up their beautiful space for a weekend filled with creativity!

They’re hosting some pretty fun opportunities to get creative throughout the weekend:

🐟 Splish Splash Fish! Youth Watercolour Workshop
Sunday, September 13 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Young artists ages 7 to 12 can get creative with Karen Kesteloot of PortPrep Arts School in this colourful, hands-on watercolour workshop.

🌅 Sunset Fiber Art Workshop
Sunday, September 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Join Wendy Behenna to explore the art of Kinusaiga and create your own fabric sunset to take home.

And you’ll find even more creativity happening at Un.Earth during the Crawl! 🧶 Threads of Connection, presented by ActiveLiving55+, will be growing throughout the weekend as the community adds pieces to this collaborative weaving installation.

A huge thank you to Un.Earth for opening your doors, sharing your space and helping us create even more opportunities for people to experience and make art during the Crawl.

🎨🎶 Art Crawl Exhibit Highlight: Inspired by the Blues

What does the blues look like?

Inspired by the Blues brings music and visual art together, with artists creating work inspired by the feeling, rhythm and soul of the blues.

You’ll find the exhibit at The Bruce during the Kincardine Art Crawl, adding another layer of art to a space that will also be filled with live music throughout the weekend.

Stop in, take a look and see where the blues took our artists. 💙

On Saturday, Banker’s Alley will be filled with local artists and makers, live music, hands-on activities, a community art installation and plenty of opportunities to try something creative yourself.

🔮 We’ll even have a tarot reader joining us!

And then there’s the newest member of the Art Crawl crew... our mascot! We’re keeping a few details under wraps for now, but you’ll be able to meet them in Creator’s Alley.

Come by for five minutes or hang out for the day. Make something, meet some people, get your cards read, listen to some music and see what you discover.

Saturday, September 12
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sat, Sep 12, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
The Walker House Museum
$30 per person
All ages and abilities welcome

Come play with paint, words and a little bit of storytelling with author/artist Andreah Barker.

This relaxed, all-ages workshop is a chance to explore how words and watercolour can work together to tell a story. We’ll experiment with colour, images and simple writing prompts to create something that’s completely your own.

No painting or writing experience needed. This workshop is about playing, experimenting and seeing where your imagination takes you.

Designed to be multigenerational, come on your own or bring your kids, parents, grandparents or friends and spend some time creating together.
