If you happen to see a post of a photo that was taken by a drone within one of Canada’s National Parks, remind the person of this hefty fine.

Waterton Lakes National Park is a no drone zone!

Recreational drone use is illegal in all Parks Canada administered places - including drones under 250 grams! Drones disturb wildlife, compromise aircraft operations, pose a safety risk to visitors and lead to a negative national park experience for other visitors.

Operating a drone within park boundaries and without an approved permit may result in law enforcement action and a fine of up to $25,000. Yikes!

If you see a drone flying in the park, report it by calling 1-888-927-3367.

My art and cards are now available at one of our local coffee shops here in Kimberley - The Bean Tree Cafe. I can now visit my creations seven days a week. Looking forward to reaching out to more coffee/art lovers.

Every new beginning comes from another beginnings end.
This afternoon marks the end of my time with the Kimberley Friends Art Collective. I sincerely appreciate your enthusiastic response to my loveable characters. It has been a joy meeting so many art enthusiasts from far and wide. Please stay in touch. Now selling my art and cards at The Bean Tree Cafe in the Kimberley Platzl, as well as online. So much to celebrate and be thankful for.

This afternoon I was working in the Kimberley Friends Art Collective, when a lady noticed my name tag. Lauren introduced herself as the proud owner of the Big Horn Sheep that I had painted last year. A new coffee friend was found today all over a watercolour painting.
