The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, originally and still known as Orange Shirt Day, reflects a commitment to healing, learning, and building stronger relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.

Today, and every day, we honour and remember residential school survivors and the children who never returned home, their families and communities.

Join Grand Council Treaty #3 for the Orange Shirt Day Pow Wow on September 30, 2026, at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion in Kenora, ON. Together we will honor Residential School Survivors, remember lost children, raise awareness, and celebrate Indigenous strength and resilience. Grand Entry begins at 1 PM. Dancers in full regalia will receive honorariums (registration required at the event).
