Generally speaking, you will go through more accessories playing heavier music than lighter music. And with the brutal price of everything these days, that’s a hard hit to the wallet.

Not to mention if you’re just starting out on an instrument, and don’t have the technique to use your accessories efficiently.

All your drumming influences are inside of you at all times. You don’t need to just pick one. I think musical maturity means that you take all these influences as tools and apply them appropriately throughout your musical career.
