My husband and I had the pleasure of attending Arts on the Avenue hosted by in downtown Kelowna last night. I looove seeing what our local talent is creating these days! These were my two favorite finds...

Handmade Rug by Kelowna & District SHARE Society. This vibrant rug was handcrafted by members of the Kelowna SHARE Society through its Re:Up (Repurpose Upcycle "turning waste into wonder") initiative. Members create rugs, tote bags, coasters, placemats and other items from 100% recycled fabrics that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill. The SHARE Society is a fantastic local non-profit organization with an equally fantastic thrift store in Kelowna where you can purchase these items.

Sticker featuring the Trailer Park Boys by . Ashton is a talented local artist who specializes in realism drawings. This sticker caught my eye as watching the Trailer Park Boys is a secret guilty pleasure of mine lol. My family also got to meet Ricky, Julian and Bubbles at the Calgary Expo in 2022.
