Hi everyone. For those who don't know me, I thought I'd share a little bit about my dance journey.

I've loved dance for as long as I can remember. Growing up, dance lessons weren't something my family could afford, but that didn't stop me. I danced whenever I could—at home, with friends, and in little shows I organized as a kid.

After high school, I took my first belly dance class and immediately fell in love. Before long, I was performing locally and discovering just how much joy I found in sharing dance with others.

A few years later, while living in Calgary, I was introduced to flamenco by my teacher Hadia (Jocelyna). The moment I experienced flamenco, I was hooked. There was something powerful, emotional, and deeply authentic about it that spoke to me in a way nothing else had.

Over the years, I studied, performed, moved cities, went to nursing school, and eventually became a mother. Like many people, life got busy, and dance took a back seat for a long time.

But the love never left.

After more than a decade away from flamenco, a coworker asked me a simple question: "If you love flamenco so much, why aren't you doing it?"

That question changed everything.

I started dancing again, and it felt like coming home.

What I've learned is that everyone should find the thing that makes them feel truly alive. For me, that's flamenco. It's not just dance—it's expression, connection, and a way of telling the truth about who you are.

I'm grateful to have found my way back. ❤️

I love this Cantinas by Lindsey Bourassa. Ive reworked it many times and tomorrow I'll be dazzling some seniors citizens just after lunch with it.

Can never get enough bullies because rhythm is life. This is an old video. It's good to look back and see how much you've changed or look at yourself with new eyes.
