๐ŸŽน Last call for piano hunting...

Piano season is almost at a close, and by mid-September, our colourful pianos will be heading into hibernation for the season.

Whether you're on a mission to find all seven or you've only met a couple so far, consider this your friendly nudge to go say hello before they disappear.

Here's a recap of where they're hanging out:

1. Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery โ€“ Promontory Green Interment Garden

2. Kerry Park โ€“ Waterfront Promenade

3. Stuart Park โ€“ Waterfront Promenade near the ice rink

4. Laurel Square โ€“ Behind the Laurel Packinghouse

5. Art Walk South End โ€“ Near Library Plaza Parkade

6. Mission Park Shopping Centre โ€“ Near the pharmacy entrance

7. Pulp Fiction Coffee House โ€“ Downtown Pandosy Street

Go find your favourite, play a tune (or three), snap a photo, and enjoy them while they're still out and about.

We'll see you for one final encore soon. ๐ŸŽถ

A piano with an amazing view. ๐ŸŽน

At Kerry Parkโ€™s Waterfront Promenade, Elmer Epp from Okanagan Piano Services checks in on the piano featuring artwork by Georgia Goerz. Definitely one of the more scenic stops on the piano circuit.

Georgia and the other artists who have breathed new life into these well-loved pianos deserve a big round of applause: Kat Kremser, Cristalina PARC residents with art teacher Gwen, Alexandra Lutsenko and Okanagan College Animation Class.

A big part of what makes Pianos in Parks possible is the support of our piano partners: Wentworth Music, City of Kelowna, Downtown Kelowna Association, Kiwanis Central Okanagan, Cristalina PARC and Callahan Property Group.

And of course, a big thank you to Elmer for helping keep the pianos sounding their best! ๐ŸŽถ

A little thank-you left on a piano. ๐Ÿ’™

A lovely surprise was found on the piano at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Dave stopped by, enjoyed a little time at the piano and left behind a thoughtful note.

Thanks, Dave, for taking the time to share a little kindness. And a shoutout to the City of Kelowna, one of our Pianos in Parks piano ambassadors, for helping Festivals Kelowna make Pianos in Parks possible.

A little behind-the-scenes from Pianos in Parks. ๐ŸŽน

When this piano first arrived at Pulp Fiction Coffee House, Elmer Epp, our piano guy, gave it a test run to make sure it was ready for its new home.

The roof had just been installed, so there was a little finishing work happening nearby. All part of getting this piano settled in. And yes, thatโ€™s a drill in the background.

A big thank you to Max for taking such good care of this piano, and to Downtown Kelowna Association, one of our Pianos in Parks ambassadors, for helping Festivals Kelowna bring these pianos to life around Kelowna. ๐ŸŽน

๐ŸŽน A little throwback to where this season startedโ€ฆ

Back on June 11, Ben Dunnill kicked things off at Stuart Park with a little musical magic. ๐ŸŽถ Hard to believe we're already two-thirds of the way through the Pianos in Parks season!

Still plenty of time to find a piano, pull up a seat, and play a tune. ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŽน

As always, Festivals Kelowna is sending a big thank you to our amazing piano partners: Wentworth Music, City of Kelowna, Downtown Kelowna Association, Kiwanis Central Okanagan, Cristalina PARC and Callahan Property Group.

And a special thank you to Elmer Epp at Okanagan Piano Services for taking care of our pianos! ๐ŸŽน๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŽน Sitting pretty at Kerry Park.

This colourful piano was painted by artist Georgia Goerz and now sits along the waterfront promenade, adding a touch of musical inspiration to the shoreline ๐ŸŽถ

Big shout out to Elmer and Collin from Okanagan Piano Services, who do the heavy lifting (pun intended) when it comes to sourcing, moving, and installing our pianos. Elmer also makes sure each piano sounds its best.

Definitely worth a stop while you are strolling the waterfront ๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŽน Art Walk alert ๐Ÿ‘€ this piano is worth a detour.

Clarence Johnson, President of the Kiwanis Club of the Central Okanagan, one of our amazing piano ambassadors who help make Pianos in Parks happen, is joined by Festival Kelowna student Renรฉe for piano set up day, along with his canine sidekick.

Inspired by Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, this piano it is bold, playful, and not at all shy about being noticed.

Definitely worth a stop ๐ŸŽถ
