SUN DEVILS KELOWNA

A huge thank you to the Kelowna Sun Devils for asking me to create these murals for their dugouts!! What a project!! Not without it's challenges, but i learnt a lot, and had so much fun! (I mean, I got to paint in a beautiful park!! How lucky am I?)

They're hosting the Provincials this year, so perfect timing for these pieces!!!!

I'm so grateful for all opportunities that are brought to me!

MURAL 💕

Yesterday I painted this temporary mural for Sweet Repeats Consignment Co & it was so much fun!!!! Someone drove through their storefront & they had to put plywood up, BUT the amazing owner Deb wanted the plywood to get a makeover and make sure people knew they were still open for business!!!!

I'm so happy i could help them out....my schedule was a little tight but I started at 6:30 and finished at 1:30 (doing the whole thing free hand allowed me to be quick!) which i had to be, as i needed to get to work on time after finishing!!!

This portrait of Sveva Caetani is now hanging at the Caetani Cultural Centre Gallery as part of the show HER WORLD, in tribute to Sveva. 14 women artists created pieces inspired by Sveva's work & life. (You can swipe to see the piece of Sveva's i chose for inspiration)

Her painting "Villa Miraggio" is layered in meaning & composition, so striking i was immediately drawn to it.

Sveva will always be a source of inspiration and an example of great resolve.
