This portrait of Sveva Caetani is now hanging at the Caetani Cultural Centre Gallery as part of the show HER WORLD, in tribute to Sveva. 14 women artists created pieces inspired by Sveva's work & life. (You can swipe to see the piece of Sveva's i chose for inspiration)

Her painting "Villa Miraggio" is layered in meaning & composition, so striking i was immediately drawn to it.

Sveva will always be a source of inspiration and an example of great resolve.

FORTY-EIGHT.

On the first day of this next chapter, I thought I'd reintroduce myself, as it's been a minute.

I'm an okanagan raised, animal-loving (especially dogs), book obsessed, plant enthusiast (32 and counting) ARTIST!!
My focus has always been portrait & figurative but I've been known to dabble in other subjects too.

Aside from my art/painting career, I've just begun a new venture into the world of tattooing, which I'm loving....any chance to become a stronger, more versatile creative!!

I'm extremely fortunate to have the absolute most amazing parents & family, and I'm also an aunt to two extraordinary nieces! And my friends that are my tribe, they're the best too. I love my people.

Heading into this year with more faith, more gratitude and more strength than ever before.

Knowledge is gained from all the lessons you experience, more and more as you age...my job is to be present, to love fiercely, to live authentically and to be of service unconditionally.

Had the honor of hanging some of my work in this amazing little gem in Salmon Arm today. This place couldn't be more beautiful & the owners couldn't be nicer. If you haven't been yet, please check it out! A hot spot for sure!!!

"THE TIMELESS ART OF SEDUCTION"

This was a commission for a Christmas gift, from husband to wife (thank you ) they own the Kramer i did a few years back & now they have this classic George in their collection. As a huge Seinfeld fan myself, i think I smiled the entire time I painted this.

I'm so grateful for all the opportunities my art career has brought me, you just never know what you'll be asked to paint next & I really love that 🖤
