Bachata level 2 combo Apr 2026.

The main goals for lev 2, are to dance in every direction, shadow positions, and dance in a circular motion. Also to add some alternative turns like counter spins or outside turns.

Weekly classes bachata 2 every Wednesday at 6:00 pm and bachata 3 at 7:00 pm.

May 2026 Schedule 🕺💃
There will be some make-up classes on Mondays because of Redbird's socials. So please pay attention to the Salsa Classes.
New class alert! we're launching our new Salsa 1.5 on Thursdays, now If you take only two months of Salsa level 1 then you're ready to level up. this is also intended to make your transition to level 2 smoother and to practice more of your foundations without starting from the absolute beginning.

New to Borealis?
If this is your first month, join the Borealis family on the first Thursday of every month for Absolute Beginner classes.
Courses are progressive throughout the month
They restart the first week of every month
One class per week
Drop-ins are allowed upon request
If you can’t attend a class, text us so we can arrange a make-up class in a different level or genre.

Bachata Level 3 combo.

This is a sensual bachata course, the only one in the city right now. The main objective is to learn and execute sensual bachata moves that involve longer body movements and isolations of the torso and the hips.

New sessions start on the first week of every month. ( for this month we’re starting April 8th).

We will take the first week off, and start classes on the 7th after easter.

Shines are back on monday nights! This is the perfect opportunity to connect with yourself and work on your styling and your body movement. One week we will teach salsa shines and every other week bachata shines. (this is a solo dancing class)
On Monday 13th we'll have a make up class Salsa and Bachata shines.

The first Thursday of the month is the best time to start your journey in the studio.
we start sessions on the first week of every month and build up for 4 weeks.

It’s our pleasure to serve this beautiful community and we hope it keeps growing an growing.

New shines classes on Mondays at 6:00 pm.

Sara K teaching bachata and Sarah B teaching salsa.

The class will include styling and footwork to increase the connection with our body and to improve our musicality with extra elements that will enrich our dance journey.

We want to create a better experience for the full membership students that want to improve faster. this class is included in that deal for only 150 CAD a month you can take all the classes you want.

We are here to better serve the community, that’s why we want to provide continuous training every week and every month of the year. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity and come to our classes.

(The class is intended for leads and follows, but the design will adjust to the needs of the students that register to the class. Please send us a text with your name to let us know that you’re coming)

Dance & Communication Workshop. Saturday Feb 21st

If you are already a dancer and your partner is not a member of the studio yet, this will be a good oportunity to introduce them into the dance world.
We have spent a lot of time teaching how to connect and communicate with our bodies. But we haven't had the opportunity to talk about how to communicate with our words. So even if you think your dance moves are advanced, there are communication pieces that we can always improve on.

In this interactive workshop, we will explore communication from two perspectives:
• Verbal communication — how we express needs, give feedback, and listen with intention.
• Dance communication — how we lead, follow, interpret signals, and connect without words.

Important.
•This workshop is designed for fixed-partner format.
•We will not be rotating partners.
•Please register with the partner you will attend with.

We’re very happy to continue with this project at University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. Salsa and Bachata dancing!

Every Friday at 2:00 pm for beginner level. 3:00 pm for intermediate level. The course is going to be 6 weeks and it starts this Friday Jan 30th 2026.

This is a partner dancing class, however you don’t need to bring a partner because we switch partners constantly throughout the class.

On Feb 21st we're planning to teach a "Connection' workshop (included in your full membership). This night will also include a mini social. pay attention to the details.
