I often forget to pull out the phone and take a video of our creative play. Sometimes you just have to soak up the moment and be present. 🙂 I did this experiment with my 5-year-old daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed seeing frost form in a jar. Even better because she could scratch the frost off the outside, which she found quite exciting.
It’s a simple and fun science experiment, with only 4 materials needed (ice, food colouring, salt, and a mason jar).
Why does frost form? Find out with this super easy frost in a jar science experiment. Learning with ice is tons of fun!
