🫖🍞Toast & Tea at the CMIC🍞🫖

Join us for some toast & tea available by donation; our full menu will be made available as well.

We are happy to be offering this event to our building again, while we are open for our season. This event, hosted by our friends at the StoryTellers Gallery the past few months, is moving back to the CMIC during our season, in a partnership with them. We are very excited about this! Last year we had a little talk at each Toast & Tea, this year we will have a little presentation every few weeks.

✨How nice is this!
In our Tom Rankin Exhibit Room, we have an exhibit of Cape Breton Highlanders in the Netherlands celebrating the end of WWII. Louis Broussard, the step-dancer capered in the photograph, was a well-known step-dancer in his time from Pomquet, Nova Scotia.
Pictured here with the exhibit is Mary Ann and Clarence DeYoung, Louis Broussard is Mary Ann’s late father. Mary Ann and Clarence stopped in last week for our lunch ceilidh.
