Taylor Linloff describes their multimedia artwork, writing, “‘Self Acceptance’ is my fourth artistic exploration of embroidery. I came out as bisexual recently after identifying as gay/lesbian for many years. The sunset represents the colours of the bisexual pride flag; the paper clouds pay tribute to my paper signatures in digital collage work; and the dandelions represent new beginnings, wishes, and changes- losing what you thought was part of yourself to grow in other places.”

Part of “Legacies: The Pride of Nova Scotia,” a collaborative exhibition that has brought together gallery staff, students, staff, faculty, and artists to celebrate the artistic creativity, accomplishments, activism, and endurance of 2SLGBTQIA+ in different forums.

Starting Wed. Feb. 9, visitors can come to the StFX Art Gallery, Mulroney Hall, 2002, and see all the works projected in a large-scale format. For more info on the exhibition, please see https://www.mystfx.ca/art-gallery/exhibition.
