Pojagi is a traditional Korean patchwork technique used to create reversible textiles with completely enclosed, raw-edge-free seams. When made with sheer or semi sheer fabrics and hung in a window, the double-folded seams stand out, creating a gorgeous effect similar to leaded stained glass. Photo memory of the day! One year ago today we kicked off Quilt Canada in Mississauga! What an experience. We met so many amazing people & had such a fabulous time. Yesterday our very own Julia flew to Winnipeg to do some scouting for us at Quilt Canada 2026!! We hope everyone attending has as much fun as we did last year!!! 🪡🧵🇨🇦

We've been having a bit of a treasure hunt in the back corners of the store and it is so very interesting! I knew we had some samples in a few totes back there - but I had no idea just how many samples there were!! We're working hard to get all of these online and our tireless inventory facilitator, Jade, has already processed over 120 in the last few weeks. Perhaps you might just find the perfect quilt, with a whole lot less work!! Happy hunting!

Quilting Corners Guild presented an impressive array of quilts for Quilts of Valour Canada on June 2, 2026. Thirty-two beautiful quilts in a range of designs and colours were displayed and given to our regional rep, Elizabeth. Our thanks goes to the many creative hands involved in piecing, long-arming and binding these important hugs for those who have served our country. Thank you also goes to Country Concessions Quilt Shop for giving us their classroom for gals to meet, sew quilt tops and socialize for this important endeavor. I am always filled with pride when I see the culmination of work created by this guild.
