The Algonquin Art Centre is now open for visitors. Plan a trip to the Park to see the art of the region.

This is a Maple Bowl with rich colour and figuring. It has jade and fern inlayed into the rim for a dramatic effect. I hope you can get to the art gallery to see it.

Algonquin Art Centre

The Algonquin Art Centre opens on Monday June 1 for the 2026 season. The exhibition, Shaped by the Land, invites visitors to experience Algonquin Park not just as scenery, but as a powerful, living force. The art explores how the land, through time, water, ice, fire, and countless natural processes has shaped Algonquin Park.

One of my bowls at the art gallery explores a new technique where I inlayed Paua Shell into Figured Maple with a bold and stunning result. Take a drive into Algonquin Park to see the art of the region.

Enjoy the Victoria Day Long Weekend. I have gathered some of my best bowls and platters for the Algonquin Art Centre. They are collecting the art and preparing the gallery to open for the season and it’s going to be an excellent show.

This is a Eucalyptus Burl Bowl and the complex colour and figuring makes it very special. It is 17.25” round x 2.75” deep.
