We built this place on more than just food. It’s about hospitality, community and generosity. It may sound sappy but in a world of fast food, distractions, stress and even loneliness, we want a restaurant where you can bring the family, enjoy a meal solo, or just sip coffee till your heart is content.
And it’s folks like Micah that run our dining room with professionalism, a heart for service and gift for conversation that help make this the place it is. Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Folks! This Friday Nov 28th you’ll want to be where the action is at. The Santa Claus Parade in beautiful downtown Huntsville is one of the most epic night parades. Stop in for an early dinner - you’ll be sure to get parking if you do ;) Then set yourself up outside for a Muskoka family Christmas tradition. It makes for a great date night too! See you soon.

What a great time instructing this great group of professional ladies (and a couple of budding artists) to unwind, laugh, take chances and try something new! I enjoyed sharing my knowledge very much and was thrilled to see the final result of their efforts! Bravo 🙌 one and all for being brave and letting me guide you gently into new waters!

Scared skinny about making art? Not sure if you can do it? Well then...I have the perfect opportunity for you! Pop in to my FREE Art Smorgasbord Event this Saturday 11-3 at Janine's Art Studio. Here you can play like a kid with NO FEAR, and try things out without a commitment!

My Art Studio tables will be all set up just like a real smorgasbord with drawing media, pastels, watercolour, acrylics and even oils for you to test drive. I work in all media and will be your guide to help you learn how they work.

Think you might like to take a class? Find out about upcoming November Master Art Classes and 2025 Winter Classes. Offerings for both In Person and Online are available. A few spaces left so act fast! Small class sizes, artist demos, group and one on one attention ensures you can learn and apply new skills in an encouraging environment. My studio is well lit with plants, nice music while you are painting, and a coffee/tea bar with homemade nibbles to enjoy right in the studio!
