Some past work. Pictures will be in the comments. π
And a little about myself
Story time!
I grew up in Witset BC formerly known as Morricetown. I moved to Houston...because....... Well let's face it, in this economy and with prices in Smithers it was cheaper and a step towards my goal of opening my business again. With that said though I fell in love. Like yes there are lots of crackers π
π but when I looked passed that and wasn't afraid to leave my home (cause I live in the ghetto) but I am working my butt off to own a house and my very own storefront one day. β¨I HAVE A DREAMβ¨
Anyway, when I actually got out and about and introduced myself to people in the community I found some pretty nice souls. An elderly man stopped to give me a ride cause he saw me walking alone up where the tow truck goes cause the ONE cab in town was unable to get me (the cab drivers are a delight by the way). A woman who owns a local bar gave me a job when I first moved here and that helped me to meet people as well and her spunky personality is quite contagious. People hold the door when I go anywhere cause I have a stroller and there's a crazy 6 year old following me (but people are just NICE here and it's refreshing). You know all the small things like that. People say hello to my son and make silly faces and the kids around here tuck him in and make sure he's covered with his blanket. All of these wonderful people make our community of Houston such a special place to live. All the trails in the surrounding area and waterfalls as well! It's so breathtaking. We are so blessed with nature around us. So aside from the homeless situation...... which if I'm being honest EVERYWHERE deals with it, Houston is definitely a hidden gem. The teachers at Silverthorne were so amazing with my daughter this past year, the police hold the door open and smile and say hello and even the few times I had to unfortunately deal with them in not so great situations they were respectful and polite. Except that one German dude but I'm going to say he was having a bad day or something... Maybe he stubbed his toe. π The health clinic has a wonderful team of nurses and the doctor who has helped us was great too βΊοΈ I am happy to have stumbled here. Thank you Smithers for your outrageous rent prices.
I've been a nail tech for 5 years now and I am certified to do lash extensions, brow lamination and lash lifts. I will also be certified to do bio microneedling. A revolutionary facial that gives the same results as a chemical peel without all the risk and takes only a week to recover from!
My previous salon location was robbed at the end of 2024. Womp womp, dark times for me. Smithers was beautiful and the community there helped me to get back up and running but my soul needed some time to heal. It was hard walking into the place I had built from absolutely nothing being completely disrespected and taken in the way that it was. I packed up to move to Houston back then but I found out I was pregnant so I took time off to have my son and do some soul searching.
I've decided to run a mobile business! Be my own boss and one day have my own shop like I previously mentioned. I know I can do it and with all the amazing people I've met I feel I am finally home. It's time to put down some roots. π₯°
I am back in the game! I have dusted myself off and I am ready to perform some beauty magic! β¨ππ₯°
So take a look at my previous nail work, I also do pedicures.
