I painted this piece for someone that needed to escape… to get away for the weekend… to immerse in calm.. to embrace the bigger picture. I made it for ME. For my love of Orca.. for the connection I feel to the ocean… and yet there is a ping in my tummy when it comes to the future of the Southern Resident Killer Whales. Ooof…
