Hello Everyone,
The last year has been a roller coaster for everyone, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. We understand how this has greatly impacted each and everyone's events, weddings, and plans. We sympathise with everyone on how frustrating and disappointing this has been. We just wanted you all to know that you are not alone, this greatly affects us as a business and ourselves on a personal level as well. When we receive a booking to DJ someone's wedding, no matter if it is a wedding for 20 people or a wedding for 300, we get just as excited as the bride and groom. We love what we do, and love to be part of peoples lives on their big day. Before each wedding, we spend days going over music selection, checking proper equipment operation and confirming details with the bride/groom and the venue. We are saying all this to let you better understand how serious we take your event.
In the last few weeks we have received a few emails regarding cancelations and refunds of deposits. My wife and I have spent a lot of time discussing this matter, trying to see it from every angle possible. When you give a deposit, not only do you guarantee the date will be held for you, but we take that money and invest it back into our business. We buy new equipment, maintain the equipment we have and are forever expanding our music selection. The more deposits we receive, the better and more dependable our equipment becomes, because that reflects how much use our equipment will experience that year.
In the past when a wedding or event is cancelled, the deposit gets forfeited, as per the contract agreement. This happens for a couple reasons, one is that we have already invested that money into our business, and two because it is usually too short of notice to rebook that day. Unfortunately, with the government basically cancelling or resizing your wedding, this does not change these reasons. However in lue of refunding your deposit, we are more than willing to rebook another date and even venue if necessary. We are more than willing to help you out with these changes that have or may occur, we are in no way quitting on you, and we ask you don't quit on us. Once again we are sorry about this, and we hope you can understand. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to rebook a new date or if you have any questions on an alternative plan to make this right.
