🏊 Annual Pool Shutdown Begins September 3

The Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre pool will be closed for annual maintenance and upgrades from September 3 to October 9, 2026.

During the shutdown, crews will complete important work, including: ✅ Pool draining and acidizing ✅ Tile and grout repairs ✅ Pump servicing ✅ Floor de-scaling and waxing ✅ Equipment inspections ✅ Deep cleaning ✅ Staff training

Annual membership holders will automatically receive an equivalent extension to their membership. During the closure, memberships can also be validated for access to the Jasper Aquatic Centre.

The pool will be closed on Tuesday, August 11, from 6:30 to 10 a.m. 🕒

These scheduled maintenance closures (second Tuesday of each month) 🛠️ help us keep the facility safe, reliable, and enjoyable for everyone.

🚧🌳 Bradwell Park Playground Replacement Starts! 🌳🚧

🔨 Beginning August 10, the old playground will be removed, and installation of the new Treehouse design 🌲🏡 will begin.

📅 Installation is expected to take approximately two weeks, with the new playground ready for use during the week of August 24. 🎉

🎈 An opening celebration is planned for Saturday, August 29. More details will be shared soon! 🎊🥳

⚠️ In the meantime, please avoid Bradwell Park while construction is underway so contractors can safely and efficiently complete the installation. 🚧👷‍♂️👷‍♀️
