WHO: bring your loves, coworkers, best friends, family, new/old friends, kids, partners, papas, buddies, etc.

WHAT: workshops are ONE DAY classes where you are guided through a handful of HAND-BUILDING techniques (not on the wheel).
We play with clay and learn decorating techniques that will result in making your very own piece to be proud of for years!

You’ll be able to choose one colourful glaze (custom made by ) and your piece will be fired and glazed for you. Pieces will be available roughly 3-6 weeks after and delivery or pickup will be arranged.

WHEN: morning and evening workshops with differing themes and times (see below).

Always a fan of a lil dish.

Ramekins are ideal: little snacks, catch-all, the best charcuterie buddy.

At home they hold my chalk, dog treats, jams, candy, jewelry, flower, sponges, soaps, candles, salt n’ spices, ketchup, …that tiny thing you can’t lose because it goes with something that needs to be fixed. 💫

✨Thoughts on Workshops✨
Lot of fun and a lot of work!

I always enjoy doing workshops and try to make sure everyone has a good time. Time to play and have some low-key fun!

Folks in the beginning seem a bit hesitant or stressed but in the end they smile, sometimes stay longer to chat, ask for local recommendations, play with the pup

This is good.
As we are bogged down by timelines and capitalist expectations… we can reclaim some freedom by doing an old craft slowly. I often need reminders to slow down and enjoy and clay is the best reminder/teacher.

As I mention during workshops… we aren’t saving lives, we aren’t stressing or serious or focused on perfection. It’s all taking time in our busy lives to PLAY and CREATE and CONNECT.

Though its ‘just mud’ I also find it very magical. It’s -fancy alchemically connected to the earth- mud. It’s also alive! And as we know some living things we just can’t control (it’s got a life of its own, however microscopic). The elasticity of clay lives in the bacteria that lives in the moisture. As water has memory so does the mercurial bacteria.

Workshops are a moment where you can create an intentional memory, a physical representation of doing something nice for yourself; with your people, that you can glance at or use later in your life.

Something sweet.
Something strange.
Something simple.

I am a mere facilitator of chill creation.
