Thank you to everyone who weighed in on our Performance Group name. I am happy to announce that our name is, Foothills County Line Dancers!

I can’t wait to see where we will go in the next coming years, but one thing is for sure….we will be rooted in community and united by our love of dance. Amen and Amen!

Today I went to go check out the High River Agricultural Society grounds to see where we are performing for the Battle of the Foothills Chuckwagon Races and I was so impressed. You know why? Because I met Liz Capellwood and walked away thinking that our town is sure lucky to have such a committed, passionate human to organize and pull-off some amazing events.

Not only did I get the details on where we are dancing, but I also got to meet someone that cares deeply about her job and her work. Thanks Rick Green and Brenda A Walsh for the connection. You are two of my other fave humans.
