If you didn’t make it to Hedley today- we are still open tomorrow Sunday 10-2:00. Why not start the day with a Pancake Breakfast at The Hedley Centre 8-10:00 ONLY $8.00 which includes coffee. From there stroll down the street and visit any number of the 13 sites listed on the map. We would love to see you😉

Did you know that World Wide Knit in Public is a thing? Actually, it's a really big thing!
Bring your knitting with you today to Hedley Makers weekend and enjoy the glorious sunshine. Our Hedley Museum has a spacious back yard with ample picnic tables, in addition to benches placed throughout town for their heritage walking tour (pick up a book at the museum). Grand Union Cafe offers a large outdoor seating area right as you enter town. Heading towards the Hedley Country Market, Woodlie Park has picnic tables, a playground and public washrooms. There's even a large table and seating in Sisterhood of Fun Ideas's front garden carport, so you wont find any shortage of places to sit, rest, and knit!

Feeling Hungry part 2

🍴Whilst visiting Terry Leonard's Makers Studio, rest your feet at the charming Grand Union Cafe, or outside in the spacious courtyard garden and enjoy a beverage from the extensive selection of both hot and cold choices. Our local kitchen whiz Lynne, keeps the baked good cabinet well stocked. Scones, cookies, carrot cake...she does it all! Fresh baked daily as well as other delicious meals made daily on site.

🍴On Sunday, start you Hedley Makers Open Studio Tour day at the Hedley Centre for their popular Pancake Breakfast. Starting at 8am and running until 10am, you can enjoy 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 rashers of bacon or 2 breakfast sausages for only $8. If this isn't a fabulous enough deal, coffee and tea are included. Bringing the kids, they have half breakfast servings and juice.
The Hedley Centre is run by volunteers, so don't forget that tip jar as your meals are cooked on the spot and brought right to your table.

Feeling hungry part 1

Not only can Hedley boast about its amazing, creative Makers, but also our incredible spots to eat. Hedley's creativity isn't limited to just studios, so come and experience the magic that comes from our kitchens as well.

🍴Open both Saturday and Sunday of the Makers Open Studio Tour, is the Hedley Country Market. Famous for its delicious soups made fresh on premises, Viktorya creates traditional favourites as well as innovative new flavour combinations. Grab a delicious baked pie, check out the massive sandwiches (looking at you, Brisket) and other goods in the fridge. Perhaps you'll be lucky to grab a coveted Bratt's Spinach Dip. Don't forget a pepperoni cheese stick, usually on the front counter.

🍴Feeling like some of the Museum's renown lemon meringue pie? A staple of the newly renovated tearoom, this locally made pie draws fans both near and far. Enjoy your pie or perhaps select a different baked delicacy with a cup of tea served as it should, in beautiful china cups. They also have coffee, pop and yes, the Museum serves floats! Don't forget to check out the Makers Open Studio Tour gift basket. Ballots available at each Makers Studio.
