It took a year and a half, but I finally done it!
I was successful in creating Art in the Trail. Thank you to Courtney Fraser at the Rec. center for support I. Making this possible, to the Town of Hay River, The Parks and Recreation, and Land permission from NWT.

I wanted a river to have a free platform for Artist to display their work, free advertisement for the registered businesses - Artists. I hope this platform will create a strong artist community for years to come..

In every community, I have set foot I have left a piece of me behind
- Fillmore Saskatchewan, I have left many of paintings for the town fundraisers
- Beauval Saskatchewan - I created a cultural literacy room for the kids. Do I need my dad’s traditional snow shoes along with the wisdom paintings that hang to make a statement
- Hay River NT- you now have a platform through art in the trail, which I hope you will forever keep alive.
And to my students of Hay River to which I have inspired, I thank you for your contributions and your time for making your Mark on the trail.

Joanne’s story
I typically don’t share clients names on our profile however, with her permission, Joanne allows me to share.

First send a prayer as she’s recovering from cancer treatment at the moment, we all wish you well!

Joanne joined our Sr. Makers class this season and produced a piece of her life story as a proud first nation. One of her great memory was when she go ice fishing, where she would cook for the family!

This is a collaborative work where I had to help her a bit however, she pulled it off quite nicely.
