This is my second attempt at making a quilted coat. I love the hood addition on this one and the large pockets. I wanted something different than your traditional buttons so I found these large tab button in my stash and added some loops in the contrasting fabric. All in all I love how it turned out.

Now on to making another with antique quilt I have been putting off on cutting.
I am still deciding on keeping or selling. What are your thoughts let me know in the comments.

I know some of you are gonna hate me for this, but I couldn’t resist. Yes I have started making some fall decorations testing out these pumpkin’s sewn with leftover quilted blocks I had from a jacket I made. What do you think?

Back to sewing lately and falling in love with it all over again 🧵

I’ve tried a few projects, but this Winnie the Pooh patchwork coat for my sweet little grandbaby is my favourite so far 💛
Not perfect… but perfectly made with love.

And don’t worry—knitting is still happening too 🧶
