Well folks, we had another great sold out show this past weekend, with our good friends Duane Steele, John Thiel and Joey Macintyre.... It always makes us so proud of this little community, when so many of them show up to support live music and the artists that come! It's even more special now, after a year of being open as we know almost everyone by name, and it truly feels like a room full of friends coming over to our huge living room, to listen to some of our very talented friends from away! Big Happy Birthday to "Chester" Foster, who's whole family came out to help him celebrate... We think the world of you all!!! Sandhill Supply Ltd. Hey there, folks.... Now that we have a nice jam packed show for Duane Steele, we thought we'd let you know about our Hardisty Rodeo Kickoff Show with Mark Parsons and friends, on Thursday July 16th at 7:30.
We thought...What could be a better way to start the rodeo weekend than having a great singing, pro cowboy/rancher/outfitter come and share songs and stories from a lifetime of cowboy'in, ranching, and even outfitting in the wilds of Alberta, BC, and the Yukon...

Hey there, folks... Well Suzanne and I just returned from a month long UK tour, and now were getting ready for our next fabulous show at the Bird Dog!
We very proud to have the amazing, award winning, and super nice, Duane Steele coming to perform on Friday June 19th at 7:30... But I bet most of you already know that as there are only 20 tickets left! It's gonna be a great show for sure!

Well folks... we sure had us a time at the Bird Dog last night! Colin Linden was everything, and way more than we could have asked... His guitar playing just left everyone single one of the lucky folks that came, almost speechless... and his songwriting and singing finished them off:)
He was a joy to have at the theatre and everyone loved him! It was wild for me to see a blues player that was obviously, absolutely filled with joy while he sang the blues...Haha, is that even legal:)
Thanks also Jason Cabanaw for the great audio work (as always) and for fixing a lighting issue enough to get through the concert..and...for these photos...
Big thanks to Jan Preece for making some snacks for all of us and bringing them over. What a nice neighbour to have here! We'd also like to thank all of you people that came out to support live roots music and some of you even came from so far... We are beyond thrilled with with that!!!

Hey there, folks... Well, today's the day!!! We're heading to the Bird Dog to get ready for Colin Linden's show with us tonight...

We got up early to cook him a nice home cooked supper to make him feel at home and welcomed in Town of Hardisty, as I know every person that comes will too...

We also spent a few days at the theatre this week hanging the track for our new back drop curtain, and it looks just amazing! I think it was worth the risk of standing so high up on the second last rung of that huge ladder, trying to reach the ceiling... I think it will even make the sound better than it was...Is that even possible:)

There are still a couple of tickets left for Colin's show, you can get them at the door, or on our website... Here's one last video of Colin being as amazing as he always is!!! Can't wait!!!
