O/M : Wednesday Open Mic. at The Baltimore House The ruins are wild. Tonight will be an open mic. Signup sheet goes out when doors open at 8 pm. Get here early to snag a prime spot on the list.

Each week we invite Hamilton's budding amateur musicians and poets to come out and show us (and you!) what they've got. We have a house drum kit and a great sound system, so don't be afraid to get loud!

Thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday. We had a full list of performers and an attentive group of listeners. Our next open mic. will be in the new year and since we know everyone will be quite spent from holiday festivities, we'll take a breather and start back up on Sunday, January 19th. There will be a caroling service at St. Paul's on Sunday, December 22nd if anyone is interested in joining. Have a great holiday season and see you soon!

Thanks to those who came out last night to O/M at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church Hamilton. We heard some Hallowe'en jokes, spoken word and poetry, and hosted our first ever violin player. We like variety, and encourage more of it in the future. The next open mic. is on Sunday November 10th. That gives you just under two weeks to write some songs, learn some covers, practise what you already know, or just sit on your butt and go with the flow when you get here. However you do it, we want to see and hear the result. Bye for now.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Sunday so there will be no open mic. at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church Hamilton. We will continue onwards starting Sunday October 27th. Poster coming soon.

Hey everyone reading this, the next open mic. will be held on Sunday, September 15th. We apologise for the inconsistency in scheduling as we get this event solidified, but we are also looking forward to settling into a consistent routine as Fall rolls around. Have a great long weekend and we'll hopefully to see you on the 15th.

After much discussion we have decided to take a break from open mic. this Sunday. We shall embrace the long weekend and encourage outdoor festivities by closing our doors that day. We will pick back up on Sunday, August 18th. Having done two already, one in the hall and one in the chapel, we will let some ideas brew over the next couple of weeks. We also have another potential event in the works for the other every-other-Sunday. Stay tuned :)

Just another reminder that there will be no open mic. tomorrow (July 13th) or next Wednesday (July 20). We will return on Wednesday, July 27th! In the meantime hit up some Hamilton Fringe Festival shows and swing by The Baltimore House for hangs, as it's the official Fringe clubhouse again this year! See you soon.

It's that time of year again. The Hamilton Fringe Festival will be taking over The Baltimore House for 11 days, (Wednesday, July 13th until Sunday, July 27th). Which means there will be no open mic. on the 13th or the 20th. That's two whole weeks people! So, if you want to play tomorrow, shoot an email to [email protected] asap (or send a message to this page) as we have a couple of pre-comedy slots open, and a bunch of late slots too (11:40 and on).

Hey everyone! Tomorrow's open mic. has been cancelled due to a one-off event- an after party for the first night the VIII Fest. If you're into in, swing by because it's gonna be pretty cray. Anyway, we apologize for the inconvenience (we know... second time this month) but we will be back up and running normally next week (Wednesday September 30th). See you this week or next!
