Phoenix was never meant to be just another weekend of classes.

We’re building something that gives dancers more —meaningful faculty interaction, performance opportunities, mock audition experience, and industry education.

But experiences like this only happen when the dance community shows up for them.

THE FACULTY ISN’T JUST THE POSTER. IT’S THE EXPERIENCE.

At Phoenix, who is in the room matters.

Our faculty brings real experience from concert tours, television, film, theatre, commercial dance, choreography and professional performance—with credits spanning Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Maluma, Netflix, Mirvish Productions, Schitt’s Creek, So You Think You Can Dance Canada, the National Ballet of Canada and more.

But impressive credits are only the beginning.

Phoenix faculty members are selected for their ability to teach, challenge, connect and give dancers the kind of insight that can change how they approach their training and their future.

This is more than a weekend of dance classes. Phoenix The Convention was built for dancers who want to train, grow, be challenged, and understand what it actually takes to move forward in this industry.

Expect exclusive faculty, mock auditions, agent opportunities, industry insight, studio discounts, and an environment focused on training, confidence, artistry, and real growth.

Select cities will also feature The Business of Dance, giving dancers the opportunity to learn about the business side of the industry and gain mentorship from leaders who know what it takes to build a lasting career.

From Mississauga to Nanaimo, Phoenix is bringing something different.

Our second Halifax event gives Atlantic Canadian studios another chance to experience five days of exciting competition, meaningful feedback and unforgettable performances.

Selected dancers may also take part in our signature Performance Improvement Training, where they receive feedback, regroup and return to the stage with the opportunity to demonstrate their growth.
