Hamilton Theatre Inc. Hamilton Theatre Company began in 1956. Incorporated in 1959, Hamilton Theatre Inc.

Hamilton Ontario's oldest Musical Theatre company presenting the best of Broadway & offering the community an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of theatre. functioned from a former fire hall that was renovated and augmented at Strathcona and Head Streets until 1986. After four years and many hours of volunteer work by its members, the present home at 140 MacNab Street North was completed.

HTI has always strived to provide Hamilton’s talented performers with an outlet to present the “Best of Broadway” to the local community. Even though for many members, musical theatre is just a hobby rooted from their passion and creativity, some of them have gone on to starring in movies, television as well as Broadway. This ties into two highly important mandates: one is to provide our members with the necessary training if they want to achieve success in the professional world of theatre, either as performers or technicians, and the other, is to entertain the Hamilton community.
